Our Mission

The Chicago Workers Collaborative works toward lasting systemic change that advances the dignity and rights of every worker through education, leadership development, organizing, and direct service.

We envision thriving, just, and equitable workplaces where empowered workers are paid living wages and work in safe environments with career advancement opportunities.

We are committed to securing that future by building power and solidarity that guarantees the rights of all by fighting for the rights of the most vulnerable.

We do this by organizing temp workers across Chicagoland and equipping them with the tools, information and support they need to advance community health and build community wealth. That means:

  • Supporting workers in the community as well as the workplace, building trust by delivering results on the issues that impact workers every day.

  • Providing robust free legal services to assist workers with immigration and labor issues.

  • Mobilizing to advocate for policy improvements that protect workers when the law fails them.
